biography

Piotr Czerwiński (born 1972 in Warsaw) is a Polish journalist, columnist and writer. His debut novel, Pokalanie (Dishonour), was published in Warsaw in 2005 under the Świat Książki imprint. It has been followed by three novels: Przebiegum życiae (Conductum Lifae, 2009), based on the author’s migration experiences, Międzynaród (Internation, 2011), a satirical dystopian story of Poland turning into an economic superpower and a destination for a great number of immigrants, and Pigułka wolności (The Pill of Freedom, 2012).

Czerwiński graduated in journalism from the University of Warsaw. He has contributed to a variety of newspapers and magazines, including Express Wieczorny, Gazeta Wyborcza, Maxim, Cosmopolitan and Playboy. He currently lives and works in Dublin.
