Magdalena Orzeł (born 1974 in Warsaw) is a Polish writer. She graduated in Polish studies and philosophy from the University of Warsaw. In 2005, she moved to Dublin, where she worked as a minder and a shop-assistant. Her debut book about Polish migrants in Ireland, Dublin, moja polska karma (Dublin, My Polish Karma) was published in Cracow in 2007 under the Skrzat imprint. Her novel Dotyk gwiazdy (The Touch of a Star) came out in 2009.
