Marek Zychla (born 1980 in Żary) is a Polish writer, biologist and accountant. His debut short story, “Kriodestrukcja” (Cryodestruction), was published in 2013 in the collection Teorie spisków (Conspiracy Theories). Since then he has contributed to a variety of publications, including Transgeniczna Mandarynka (Transgenic Tangerine, 2013), Toystories (2013), Człowiekiem jestem (I Am Human, 2014), Pokłosie (The Aftermath, 2015) . He regularly writes for Ex Fabula literary portal. His short story “Irish Breakfast” describes his migration experiences in Ireland.

He lives and works in Callan.
