Olszewska, Kinga

biography

Kinga Olszewska (born 1975 in Toruń) is a Polish academic researcher and lecturer. She graduated in English Literature from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and pursued her Ph.D. at the National University of Ireland in Galway. Having completed her degree, she received a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship from the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Studies and worked in the Moore Institute.

Her debut poems “Site for Sale” and “A Sort of Homecoming” were published in Landing Places: Immigrant Poets in Ireland anthology in 2010. Then, she left for Canada where she joined the Department of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies at the University of Alberta.
