Grzegorz Kopaczewski (born 1977 in Poland) is a prose-writer. His debut novel, Global Nation: Obrazki z czasów popkultury (Global Nation: A Scrapbook of Pop Culture), was published in Wołowiec in 2004 by Wydawnictwo Czarne. It tells the story of a group of young migrants who have moved to London in pursuit of fun, career and money. His second novel Huta (Foundry) came out in 2007.

Grzegorz Kopaczewski holds a Ph.D. degree in sociology. He lives in Chorzów and works as a columnist for the Ultramaryna monthly. He first went to London in search of work in the summer of 2000. He still returns there for holidays.
