Anna Łajkowska (born in 1968) is a Polish writer and teacher. Her debut trilogy of novels, including Pensjonat na wrzosowisku (Guesthouse in the Moorland, 2012), Miłość na wrzosowisku (Love in the Moorland, 2012), and Cienie na wrzosowisku (Shadows in the Moorland, 2013), was published in Katowice by Damidos. It was inspired by the author’s own experiences of being a Polish migrant in the British Isles. Her latest novel Szepty gwiazd (Whispers of Stars) came out in 2014.
Łajkowska currently lives in Pruszcz Gdański, where she teaches Polish at a primary school.
