biography

Ewa Stec (born in Kęty) is a Polish novelist. She graduated in Iberian studies from Jagiellonian University and in screenwriting from the London Film School. She quit her job in the London City to become a full-time writer. Her debut novel, Romans z trupem w tle (A Romance with a Corpse in the Background, 2009), was published in Cracow in 2009 under the Otwarte imprint. It has been followed by Polowanie na Perpetuę (Perpetua Hunting, 2009), Klub Matek Swatek (Moms' Matchmaking Club, 2010) and its sequel Klub Matek Swatek. Operacja: Londyn (Moms' Matchmaking Club. Mission London, 2011).

She currently lives and works in Warsaw.
